Queste pazzesche immagini sono opera di Kazuhiko Kawahara, detto "Palla" (sic).
Palla prende le sue foto e le modifica moltiplicando le immagini su vari assi di simmetria, ruotandole e spalmandole su più strati.
Mi piace quest’idea di rappresentare la realtà per poi giocarci, per deformarla come plastilina…
Il sito di Palla è una comunità attivissima, in cui l’artista spiega dettagliatamente le tecniche utilizzate e ogni opera può essere commentata. Nell’intervista a Pingmag linkata sotto, l’artista stesso dichiara che moltissimi input creativi gli arrivano direttamente dai suoi visitatori:
